加來道雄（Michio Kaku），日裔美國人，近來在探索頻道很紅。他是一位理論物理學家，我相當欣賞他。在網上找到他的一本書，『【不可能】的物理』（Physics of the Impossible），饒有興趣的，就買了下來。書剛拿到手，看了看前言，嚇了一大跳，寫出來分享一下。 加來先生在他高中時買了四百磅的廢變壓器，在學校的足球場繞了總長度為22英里的銅線圈。他幹甚麼呢？他建了一個230萬電子伏特、耗電量6千瓦特的電子感應加速器（Betatron particle accelerator）。這個加速器能產生強達地球磁場兩萬倍的電磁場，將電子加速然後對撞。世界上最大的粒子加速器是歐洲核子研究所（CERN）所製造的。 這個加速器為他贏得了哈佛大學的學額。 我們十八歲的時候在物理科學方面學得了甚麼、懂得了甚麼？ 加來先生可能是天才，但即使是天才也必須要有環境讓他展現他的天才。 我想說的是我們的教育系統及制度真的只能教育出高分低能畢業生，這是一個可悲的現實。 Tweet
